The ACT Junior Chess League presents
the 2005 ACT Girls Chess Allegro (it’s
a pizza party!)
The Girls’ Allegro is a
fun tournament to decide the Under 18,
12, 10 and 8 Girls' Allegro Champions.
Trophies will be awarded to the first, second and third placegetters
overall, along with first, second and third Under 12, first, second and third
Under 10 and first, second and third Under 8.
Additional prizes and encouragement awards may be awarded depending on
the number of entries received. Players
are only eligible to win one trophy. All
participants receive a ribbon.
Allegro Chess is played under the same conditions and with the same time control as the schools' championships. As with the schools' events, ALL players are welcome and encouraged to attend, irrespective of skill.
When:
Sunday 3 April 2005, 10am until 4pm

ACT Junior Chess Centre, Campbell High School

Crescent, Campbell
Who:
All Girls born on or after 1 January 1985
Cost:
$12.50 per child ($10 for ACTJCL members)
maximum of $25 per family
($20 for members)
Time Limits:
Games will be played using chess clocks with
15 minutes per player per
game (max 30 mins
per round).
7 rounds will be played on the day
and all players participate
for the full 7 rounds
(except when byes occur).
No players are
“eliminated” during the
day!

Entries close on Wednesday 30 March however late entries will be accepted
up to the start of play if space allows.
Lunch:
Pizza and a soft drink is available for $6 per child. Snack items will be available from the ACTJCL canteen.
