The number of rounds to be played and the timing for the rounds will depend on the number of teams nominated by each state but – based on the most common scenario – the playing schedule is expected to be –

Monday 11 December 2006	Opening Ceremony Round 1 Round 2 Round 3	9.30am 10am 1pm 4pm
Tuesday 12 December 2006	Round 4 Round 5 Closing Ceremony	9am 12 noon expected no later than 4pm

Time Controls	Primary - All moves in 40 minutes plus 10 seconds increment per move from move 1. Secondary - All moves in 60 minutes plus 10 seconds increment per move from move 1.

A fully catered function will take place on Monday evening (minimum sausages, bread, condiments and selection of 2 salads, dessert and soft drink). This is at no cost to participants and support staff.
