Australian Junior Problem-Solving Championship
With thanks to Nigel Nettheim, Geoff Foster, Dennis Hale, Peter Wong, Bob Meadley and Ian Rogers, ACTJCL is proud to host the first Australian Junior Problem-Solving Championship.

In case you don't know what a problem-solving event involves, Nigel Nettheim has prepared A Quick Introduction to Chess Problems and End-game Studies.

The organisers have prepared a report on the event, including some analysis of competitors and marks, which can be downloaded from here (57k).

The answer sheet for the problems used in this competition can be downloaded here (4.74Mb). People interested in Chess Problems can find out more at Peter Wong's site www.chessville.com/Wong.
